The top-placed side in the 2023-24 NBA regular season with the most wins across conferences, the Boston Celtics overwhelmed Stephen Curry's Golden State Warriors with a 52-point victory at the TD Garden. After the 140-88 win, Celtics star forward Jaylen Brown took shots at the Warriors coach, Steve Kerr's defensive tactics against him.

The Celtics, who have lost just three of their 32 home games this season, dominated the Golden State Warriors on Sunday as Jaylen Brown led the charge with 29 points in just 22 minutes. Brown was followed by Jayson Tatum (27), and Payton Pritchard (19) as the top scorers for the Celtics against the Warriors.

After Draymond Green left Jaylen Brown open on several occasions during the game, Kerr revealed the Warriors implemented sag-off tactics on Jaylen Brown. However, the Celtics forward scored a game-high 29 points while shooting 11 of 19 from the field and 50% from beyond the arc. Steve Kerr said, "You try different things. You have to pick your matchups. We wanted Draymond to be able to help on drives and make sure that we weren't giving up easy stuff in the paint."

Brown had the last laugh against Warriors

After the blowout victory, Brown took to X and reposted Steve Kerr's video mocking the Warriors coach. Brown sarcastically invited other NBA teams to follow the same strategy as it was fruitful for him and the Celtics. Brown wrote, "More teams should take this strategy."

To close off the driving lane, Green left Brown open on various occasions while the Celtics forward made the most out of those opportunities. Brown scored three consecutive three-pointers during the Celtics' possession, which sparked a 14-0 run. With this win, Boston ended the Warriors' three-game winning streak in the regular season. Golden State will next host the Milwaukee Bucks on Wednesday night at the Chase Center.
