Joao Felix is a Portuguese international footballer, who plays as a winger or an attacking midfielder for the Premier League club Chelsea. He signed a permanent contract with Chelsea in August 2024 for a reported transfer fee of £42 million with additional add-ons. The 25-year-old was later loaned out during the January transfer window to the Italian Giants AC Milan until the end of the season on a £5m loan fee. He made 21 appearances with the Rossoneri’s, in which he scored three goals and provided one assist.

The forward then returned to Chelsea following his loan spell. However, recent reports suggest that Joao Felix has agreed a deal with the Saudi giant Al Nassr and is already in Saudi to complete the documentation. The Portuguese international is reportedly having his medical tests scheduled for Monday, July 28 and will sign a two-year contract at the club, as per Fabrizio Romano. A reported transfer fee of £43.7m with additional add-ons has been agreed with Chelsea to land the deal of Felix.

Felix set to reunite with national team captain Cristiano Ronaldo in yellow jersey: Reports

A reunion with Benfica was on the cards. However, Al Nassr managed to hijack the deal and bring in Felix to Saudi Arabia. Joao Felix is set to rejoin forces with his idol Cristiano Ronaldo at Al Nassr. According to reports by Foot Mercato, Cristiano convinced Joao Felix to join the club by stressing that they would be able to develop more understanding between themselves by playing over 40-50 games together at Al-Nassr ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Joao Felix would be a great addition to strengthen the attacking line of Al Nassr alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Mane. Al Nassr will hope that this new signing will add to the quality of the team and improve the morale of the team. Al Nassr are aiming for the title in the upcoming season and Joao Felix could potentially play a massive role towards reaching their goal.
