England and New Zealand are currently facing off in the first of the two-match Test series. On Day 1 of this Lord's Test, the Kiwis won the toss and elected to bat first. The duo of Tom Lathom and Devon Conway helped the visitors off to a steady start adding 58 runs for the first wicket before Latham became the victim of Ollie Robinson. His departure brought to crease the BlackCaps captain and one of the greats of the game Kane Williamson.

Although Williamson is always a delight to watch in modern day cricket, a striking feature of his batting stood out on Wednesday. The 30-year-old was seen twirling his bat against the likes of Mark Wood and Robinson before meeting the ball with the bat. At one particular frame, Williamson almost had the back side of the bat in the front, the picture of which is trending on social media.

3 debutants in the Lord's Test

As many as 3 cricketers are making their Test debut in this game. While New Zealand have trusted Conway at the top of the order, England's James Bracey and Ollie Robinson are also playing their first game. Both Robinsion and Conway have been impressive so far while Bracey is yet to get a turn. Robinson also achieved the feat of becoming the 100th English player to make his debut at Lord’s and has already bagged a wicket.
