New Zealand former captain Kane Williamson and his wife Sarah welcomed their third child. The batter took to Instagram to announce the birth of a baby girl, expressing happiness and delight at the latest addition to the Williamson family. Notably, Kane and Sarah are already parents to a one-year-old son and three-year-old daughter.

Williamson posted a heartfelt note on Instagram sharing a photo with his wife and new-born daughter. The 33-year-old cricketer wrote, "And then there was 3 Welcome to the world beautiful Girl. So grateful for your safe arrival and the exciting journey ahead.” Williamson was on paternity leave during the recently concluded T20I series against Australia. New Zealand lost the series 0-3, and are now gearing up for the forthcoming Test series, set to kick off on February 29.

Australia opener David Warner congratulates Williamson

Australian star batter David Warner, who was in New Zealand for the T20I series, congratulated the couple while hailing Williamson as a ‘legend’. Warner, who recently drew curtains on his ODI and Test career, commented on Kane’s post and wrote, “Congrats legend”. Notably, the birth of Williamson’s third child came after Indian legend and Williamson’s close friend Virat Kohli and his wife Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma announced the birth of their second child, Akaay.

Williamson missed his side’s recent T20I series against Australia to be with his wife. However, he was in good form in the two-Test series against South Africa and guided his side to their first-ever Test win against the Proteas.
