India’s ODI and Test captain Rohit Sharma is known for his tendency of forgetting things. The T20 World Cup winning captain has time and again forgotten things, giving several moments of laughter to fans. Sharma’s several teammates including Virat Kohli, have pointed out his tendency of misplacing things and forgetfulness. Recently, Sharma’s forgetting nature was once again on display when the cricketer got back from a vacation.
The 37-year-old cricketer enjoyed a long family vacation with wife Ritika and daughter Samaira after leading his side to their second T20 World Cup win in 2024. Sharma recently returned to India, and a video of his arrival at airport has gone viral. In the video, Sharma forgot the number of bags he was carrying from vacation. He was heard telling staff, “7 bags hone chahiye” (there should be 7 bags).
Later, after sitting in the car, he corrected the bag count and told his staff “8 bags hone chahiye”( there should be 8 bags). Needless to say, the video went viral on social media and fans couldn’t help but laugh and react to the video.
Earlier, Virat Kohli remarked about Rohit’s forgetfulness on Breakfast With Champions hosted by Gaurav Kapur. Kohli said that he has never seen anyone else forgetting as many things as Sharma does. The Indian batting maestro said, “The number of things Rohit Sharma forgets, I have never seen anyone else being this forgetful; iPad, wallet, phone, he forgets not just small things but daily use essentials.”
