Kolkata Knight Riders head coach Chandrakant Pandit showed obligation on a overseas player from the franchise for going out on a dinner with the player of a rival team amidst the ongoing IPL 2025. As per the reports by RevSports, there have been issues within the KKR dressing room, particularly regarding the relationship between players and the coach.

The reports suggest that an overseas player from KKR was left in shock after head coach Chandrakant Pandit questioned him for going out on a dinner with the player from a different team.

“Grapevine has it that an overseas player was taken aback when Pandit questioned him for going out for dinner with a rival team player, notwithstanding that they are teammates in their national side,” the statement read, as quoted by News18.

KKR look to get back on winning track against DC

The defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders are in a tricky situation in the ongoing IPL season. The Ajinkya Rahane-led side is currently placed at seventh spot in the points table with three wins and five losses so far. They are currently taking on Delhi Capitals in match number 48 of IPL 2025 at Arun Jaitley Stadium.

Not getting a win from the last three matches, KKR will look to get back on the winning track against DC in Delhi. Talking about the match, DC won the toss and put KKR to bat first. KKR aim to post a big total and defend it successfully to get their fourth win and keep their hopes alive for the playoffs.
