Kolkata Knight Riders all-rounder Sunil Narine shocked the world as he comple ted his maiden career century against the Rajasthan Royals in IPL 2024. Narine has been in scintilating form with the bat throughout the 2024 season and so far scored 276 runs in six innings. After losing the toss, KKR started poorly with the bat but Narine with flamboyant slogging kept the scoreboard ticking.
The West Indian reached his 50 in 21 balls and continued smashing the Rajasthan Royals bowler around the Eden Gardens. Narine, in the next 28 balls, reached the three-figure mark for the first time in his cricketing career. Moments after his ton, Narine got out at a score of 109 in 56 balls with 13 fours and six sixes.
