The defending champions, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) on Wednesday, April 9 roped in Abhishek Kumar Dalhor, a standout performer in the tennis ball cricket tournament, the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). The franchise, who are having a mixed season so far in the IPL 2025, signed Abhishek Dalhor as a net bowler.
Although, he becomes one off the pick from the tournament, thus highlighting the ISPL’s role in providing a platform for aspiriting cricketers to showcase their skill and talent, thus progressing further in their cricketing journey. Speaking of the ISPL, it is India’s pioneering tennis ball T10 league, played in a a similar format like the IPL.

Talking of Abhishek Kumar Dalhor, the aspiring talent has had an impressive journey, featuring in two seasons so far. The Ambala-born has amassed 324 runs and claimed 33 wickets in 19 matches across the two seasons. While he was awarded with the Player of the Tournament honour in the first season, he went on to claim the Best Bowler in Season 2.
