The Rohit Sharma-led Team India are currently preparing for the Continental tournament Asia Cup in Bengaluru and ahead of their first match, which is said to be played against Pakistan, Head Coach Rahul gave a big update on the team. The former Indian cricketer, in his recent address opened up on KL Rahul's availability for the Asia Cup.
Rahul, who is coming after a long injury layoff, suffered a slight niggle ahead of the continental tournament. However, he has resumed practice and can be seen keeping wickets in the practice sessions in Alur, Bengaluru, Dravid confirmed that the 31-year-old will miss the match against Pakistan and Nepal.
It is to be noted that India is set to begin their Asia Cup 2023 campaign against Pakistan on September 2 at the Pallekele International Cricket Stadium followed by a game against Nepal on September 4.
