The Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 Round 1 concluded with some underdogs as well as some seasoned teams finishing with dominating performances. In Round 1, 1024 teams competed but before the second round’s commencement, the Battleground Mobile India (BGMI) publishers, Krafton released a list of teams that were disqualified from the BGIS 2024.
The body had earlier disqualified eight teams and has further disqualified 13 more teams in the Battleground Mobile India Series (BGIS) 2024 for carrying out cheating and ringing activities. After bringing in strict community concerns, Krafton India Esports added more names to the list.

“We regret to inform that certain teams have been disqualified from BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA SERIES 2024 due to violations of our competition rules. These violations include the use of unauthorized devices and engaging in ringing activities,” Krafton India Esports said in its post on Instagram.
“At BGIS, integrity and fairness are at the core of everything we do. We are dedicated to maintaining a fair and competitive environment for all participants. Thank you for understanding and support as we continue to uphold the highest standards in our competition,” they further added.
What does the BGIS 2024 Rulebook states?
According to the 6.2.4 section of the BGIS 2024 Rulebook, “Playing under another player’s account or Gametag, or soliciting or inducing someone else to play under another player’s account or GamerTag, is prohibited.”
Moreover, it is to be seen if the video game publisher will take further actions on the above teams.
