The rumours around the arrival of BGMI Unban is doing rounds lately. However, several reports have been doing rounds on the return of the Battlegrounds Mobile India from last few months with the game being known as PUBG in India.

Launched on July 2, 2023 for Android users in the country and later being launched on iOS on August 18, 2021, the game was later banned by the Government of India on July 28, 2022. The game in which close to hundred players can play together in a battle, is designed by KRAFTON.

 

However, it is being talked that the game might return. If the reports are to be believed, the game is set to mark its return on January 15. During a stream of Alpha Clasher, a user claimed himself as a Google employee, revealed that the title would be available on the Play Store from January 15.  

 

Esports a 'multi-sport' event in India

 

The Government of India on December 27, 2022 officially recognised Esports as a ‘multi-sport’ event. With this landmark decision, esports will now come under the ministry of Youth Affairs.
