Since last year's inaugural three-split season in LEC, Riot Games has continued the format this year as well. The LEC includes three splits starting which kicks off with the LEC 2024 Winter Split after which teams will play the Spring and Summer splits and the LEC Season Finals to conclude the league’s competitive year.

In 2023, Riot Games confirmed that the League of Legends EMEA [Europe, Middle East, and Africa] Championship (LEC) would be played on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, instead of the usual two-day schedule. Additionally, the games are set to begin at 5 pm CET.

What is the format for LEC 2024 Winter Split?
Stage 1, Regular season, saw 10 teams participate in a s ingle round robin format with best of one matches after which t he top eight teams advance to the next stage. The Stage 2 or the Playoffs will include eight teams in a Double elimination bracket. Here the first and second r ounds with have best of three matches.
