The former superstars of the game will be back in action as the second edition of the Legends Cricket Trophy (LCT) is all set to begin from March 8. The tournament will run until March 19 in Sri Lanka. All the matches will be played in Pallekele International Cricket Stadium in Kandy, Sri Lanka. There will be a total of 22 games that will be played in the 90-ball format.

The tournament will see seven teams featuring in this season. The teams which will be taking part in the competition are Colombo Lions, Dubai Giants, Kandy Samp Army, New York Superstar Strikers, Delhi Devils, Rajasthan Kings, and Punjab Royals.
The tournament will be played in the round-robin format wherein each team will be competing against each other once and the top two teams will play the final. Many former cricketers like Chris Gayle, Suresh Raina, Yuvraj Singh and Tillakaratne Dilshan will be seen leading their respective sides.
