Gujarat Giants and Bhilwara Kings will battle it out in the eleventh match of the second edition of Legends League Cricket at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium in Jodhpur. Both teams have played five matches so far and have won two each. Bhilwara and Gujarat sit at the second and third positions in the points table respectively with five points each. Now, as the tournament inches closer to the final showdown, both teams will look to solidify their position and qualify for the knockouts.

The venue will be completely new for both teams and it is to be seen who gets accustomed to the conditions quickly. As Gujarat and Bhilwara prepare themselves to take on each other, here is a stats-based prediction for the events in the game.

Toss Prediction

The first and foremost thing in a cricket match is the toss. The captain winning the toss will get to decide who bats first. Going by the form of both teams in the tournament so far, both teams have won three out of four tosses. However, when the two teams last met, Gujarat Giants won the toss and hence will be expected to do it again when the two teams meet on Friday.

Win Possibility

As mentioned above, both teams have won two games each so far in the tournament. However, during their last meet, Irfan Pathan’s Bhilwara Kings emerged victorious by a massive margin. Also, the current form is in Kings’ favour. Therefore, they will be favourites to win Friday’s clash.

Team of the Day

With the likes of Irfan Pathan, Yusuf Pathan, Nick Compton, and S Sreesanth; Bhilwara Kings are the Team of the Day.

Predicted Powerplay score & Average first innings score

Gujarat Giants have managed an average powerplay score of around 50 runs (49.75) in their five matches. Meanwhile, Bhilwara Kings have managed to score 50.25 runs in their first six overs. So, the powerplay score for both teams is expected to remain under 50 runs.

There have not been many T20 matches played at the venue. Only One-Day Internationals have been played so far at the Barkatullah Khan Stadium. Going by how the two teams have played, something around 170 is expected to be the score in Friday’s game.
