Wisden-powered Legends Ranking was released on Wednesday for the first time. The list of the top 10 senior batters, bowlers, and all-rounders was released in Legends Rankings. This unique ranking system has been made for the legends of the game and has currently considered Road Safety World Series 2020 & 2022, both seasons of Legends League Cricket, Sachin Blasters vs Warne Warriors – 2015, and the Masters Champion League 2016 leagues in ranking the players.
The Wisden has confirmed that more leagues like Lanka Premier League, Nepal T20, and ILT20 will be considered going ahead.
Legends Ranking Points System
The Legends Ranking system is a collective score based on the overall performance of a retired player in T20 tournaments.
The player's overall match score, overall individual score, and the number of wickets taken for each match will be taken into consideration in deciding the ranking.
The weightage has also been given to the stature of the opposition team. Other important factors and attributes include the strike rate and average of a player, along with the opponent's performance and their team's overall performance throughout the tournament.

Former Sri Lankan batter Tilakratne Dilshan has grabbed the top spot in the batters and all-rounders' ranking followed by India's Yusuf Pathan. India's legendary opener Virender Sehwag bagged the 7th spot in the batters' ranking. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka's Nawan Kulsekra is topping the bowlers' rankings.
