One of the two new IPL teams, the Lucknow Super Giants is set to make a major change to their jerseys. The KL Rahul-led side had a decent debut season in the IPL and managed to secure a third-place finish. But despite this performance, fans were unhappy with their cyan and orange jersey.

Hence, the Lucknow Super Giants are set to put out a new jersey for the 2023 season. This development was confirmed by sources close to SportsTiger. Fans questioned the design from last season's creativity and compared it to a jersey seen in the famous TV show ‘Tarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chasma’ worn by the main characters in the ‘Gokuldham Premier League’.

During the auction for the 2023 season, LSG didn't have a busy day as they bought just 10 players. Their biggest buy was Nicolas Pooran, who cost them INR 16 crore. They have a number of all-rounders in their middle order which also bolsters their front-line bowling. LSG also picked up players like Jaydev Unadkat, who will sound backups for their key players.

With these changes, Lucknow has a deep batting lineup with Krunal Pandya coming at No. 7. Similarly now they can also play around seven bowling options in their potential starting XI. Hence with this squad, KL Rahul and LSG will hope to replicate and even improve their performance from last season.
