In a high voltage Major League Baseball (MLB) m atch, Canada's Toronto Blue Jays defeated Tampa Bay Rays 7-2 on Tuesday night. During the match, Indian-born AP Dhillon became first Punjabi singer to throw pitch for Toronto Blue Jays.

After the game, Punjabi singer AP Dhillon took to his official Instagram handle and posted three pictures from the match wearing Blue Jays jersey and with their mascot. The Blue Jays commented the lyrics of one of his most popular songs 'Brown Munde', "Desi je geet aa, trap ji beat aa, Sirr kadd gajde, speaker’aan ch vajde, Brown Munde 🔥" and also wrote, " Honoured to have you here at the ballpark! Hope to see you again soon 💯 "


Talking about the match, Whit Merrifield made two runs with a seventh-inning double, while George Springer added a two-run homer to help Toronto Blue Jays beat Tampa Bay Rays 7-2 in Toronto to gain a doubleheader split between AL wild card contenders.
