Stated to be as one of the oldest F1 tracks in the history of racing, the Monaco Grand Prix is all set to gear up to host the racing in the ongoing F1 calendar. The Monaco GP 2024 will be held from May 24 till May 26 in Monte Carlo. This will be the eighth race of the year.
Although, the F1 started in this region in 1950, which is exactly 74 years ago, the track was built long way back in 1215, when Monaco was established as a colony of Genoa. The race consists of three practice races, a qualifying race and the main race on Sunday, May 26.
Red Bull driver Max Verstappen is the defending champion here, finishing at the top of the podium with a record time of 1:11.365. He was followed by Aston Martin’s Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon of Renault.
