Dewald Brevis is highly regarded as the next big thing in the cricket world. He has amazed everyone with his performances in the recently concluded ICC U19 World Cup. The South African batter fetched Rs. 2 crores in IPL auction last month and was secured by Mumbai Indians. While the cricket fraternity is eagerly looking towards Brevis' (aka 'Baby AB') performance in a cash-rich tournament, the Mumbai franchise recently treated their fans with a sneak peek into batter's life.

A 1:29 minute-long clip posted by the Mumbai franchise on Instagram shows the 18-year-old cricketer giving a tour of his room, talking through several posters of decorated cricketers, including the likes of Sachin Tendulkar, Virat Kohli, AB de Villiers and Harbhajan Singh. He started with Sachin's poster playing a famous uppercut shot on his wall, followed by former Indian cricketer Harbhajan Singh. Brevis informed fans that these posters had been there for ages, and he can't even recall the exact moment when he brought these posters.

Taking up further, Brevis showed pictures of AB de Villiers and Indian batter Virat Kohli, playing trademark cover drive. Brevis, who was seen as highly impressed with Indian cricketers, informed that he looks up to all these players and takes a lot of inspiration from them. Brevis also pans his camera to show his poster playing a similar kind of cover drive as Kohli and said that he wanted to draw comparisons of his cover drive with the Indian batter, whom he terms as the legend of the game.
