Mumbai Indians New York reveal their logo for inaugural edition of Major Cricket League

The Mumbai Indians-owned Mumbai Indians New York revealed their logo on Monday (March 20) for the inaugural edition of Major Cricket League. The franchise also announced their picks from the inaugural MLC Draft on Monday. It is to be noted that Mumbai Indians and three other IPL franchises confirmed their teams in the newly introduced Major League Cricket last week.

Mumbai Indians Draft picks for inaugural MLC

 

The franchise picked Steven Taylor - former captain of United States cricket team as their draft pick. They then went on to pick all-rounder Hammad Azam, who currently plays for Golden State Grizzlies. Fast bowler Ehsan Adil, left-arm spinner Nosthush Kenjige, Monank Patel, spinner Sarbjeet Singh LaddaShayan Jahangir, Kyle Philip and 22-year-old wicketkeeper Saideep Ganesh completed the first draft pick.
