The former India captain and batting stalwart Virat Kohli celebrated his sixth wedding anniversary on Monday, December 11 after tying a knot in 2017 with Bollywood celebrity Anushka Sharma. The power couple, however, didn’t disappoint this time as they shared the pictures a day later on Tuesday, offering a sneak peek into their special celebration along family and friends.
The couple who are reportedly in London, before Virat Kohli joins the side in South Africa for the Test series, took to Instagram to share a picture with wife from their celebrations. However, Anushka offered more than her husband as she shared snippets from the celebration on her Instagram along with a post, calling Virat her “numero uno”. “Day filled with love and friends and family ❤️ got too late to post for the gram? 6+♾️ of ❤️ with my numero uno,” the actor captioned the post with a picture.
The couple were seen acing their look with Anushka slaying in a chic black dress and Virat sporting a black shirt with matching pants and white sneakers. Notably, the post on Virat’s social handle has amassed more than 3.7 million likes in just an hour, Anushka’s hearty post garnered 1.4 million likes.

Talking about Virat Kohli, the leading run-getter at the ODI World Cup 2023 in India has taken a break from white-ball leg and will return to the field for the two-match Test series in South Africa. While the first Test is set to be played from 26 to 30 December at the SuperSport Park in Centurion, the second will be played from January 3 to 7 at the Newlands in Cape Town.
