Denver Broncos defeated  San Francisco 49ers 11-10 on Wednesday at the Mile High Stadium as Carlisle Weightman punted 10 times for an average distance of 47.6 yards. After the game Broncos quarterback hit back at the former New York Giants quarterback, Eli Manning over his  $235 million punter joke.

Russell Wilson signed a $245 million contract for five years with Denver Broncos this off-season, however, the quarterback has struggled to justify the deal with his new club after  completing just 59.4% passes in three games. Wilson only passed for 743 yards, including two touchdowns, and one interception.

During ESPN's "ManningCast" of Monday night football game between Dallas Cowboys and New York Giants, Eli Manning humorously said, "They should have paid that punter $235 million instead of Russell." However, on Tuesday, Manning said, "I never attempt to directly criticise somebody."

Manning named his alter-ego Chad Powers, where he pretended to be a 26-year-old quarterback wanting to walk-on at Penn State.

While talking on Manning's remark in a news conference on Wednesday, the Denver quarterback had the last laugh as he took a jab on former NFL quarterback. Wilson stated, "You talking about Chad Powers? Yeah, you know, I’m 3-0 against Chad Powers."

Later, Wilson showed respect towards NFL greats and brothers Peyton and Eli Manning as he said, "Listen, it’s simply a gaming element. They enjoy themselves and do other things. Peyton and Eli are people I greatly respect. I’ve always respected those men, so I’m not concerned."

Meanwhile, Broncos are on a two-game winning streak after losing their opener and are currently placed on the second position in AFC West standings. Denver Broncos will next host Las Vegas Raiders in their fourth game of the season at the  Allegiant Stadium on Sunday night.
