Australian tennis star Nick Kyrgios has made it to the headlines yet again for a wrong reason when he walked up to receive the second-placed trophy after losing to seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic in the All England Championships on Sunday.

Serbian tennis sensation Novak Djokovic bagged seventh Wimbledon title after beating Kyrgios 6-4, 3-6, 4-6, 6-7 in the final. While receiving the runners-up trophy from Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, the 27-year-old Aussie broke Wimbledon's all-white dress code by wearing a red cap.

The presence of Royal family in the box at the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club was not enough for the Australian to avoid violating the Wimbledon's all-white policy. After losing the final, Kyrgios swapped his white cap with a bright red cap while receiving the runner-up trophy.

Earlier this week, the world number 40 was spotted wearing a red cap and matching shoes after his fourth-round victory over Brandon Nakashima. Nick was involved in a heated exchange with a reporter, who confronted the tennis star in the post-match press conference.

Wimbledon authorities will be looking to slap heavy fine on the runner-up as he refused to follow the Center Court regulations. Nick Kyrgios reached the grand slam final for the first time only to lose to Novak Djokovic, who has now won 21 grand slam titles just one less than Spain's Rafael Nadal.
