Cricket in India gets enormous love and so do the cricketers. But when these cricketers don’t perform up to the expectations of fans, they get immense hate as well. And with social media taking over, it has become quite easy for such trolls to target cricketers and say whatever they want.

The recent examples of such brutal trolling include Mohammed Shami getting targeted over his religion for leaking runs in an India-Pakistan match, and Arshdeep Singh getting hate for dropping a catch in an India-Pakistan match at Asia Cup 2022. The latest addition to the list is Bhuvneshwar Kumar who was badly trolled for leaking runs in India-Australia T20I played on 20 September.

The worst part about such trolls is that they don’t even spare the families of these cricketers. Nevertheless, the Indian team seems to give zero attention to such trolls as they call it outside noise. But the cricketers’ families don’t like to hang back all the time. With Bhuvneshwar Kumar receiving so much hate, his wife Nupur Dagar took to social media to hit back at these people as she posted a story on Instagram.

nupur-nagar Nupur said that nobody cares about the existence of such people and also shared a piece of advice for them. “Nowadays people are so worthless, that they have nothing better to do and have so much time to spread hate and envy... My advice to all those is nobody is affected by your words or cares about your existence. So, spend that time in making yourself better, though there is very less scope for that!!” Nupur wrote on Instagram.

Notably, Bhuvneshwar Kumar had a rough day in the field as the right-arm quick conceded 52 runs in his four overs and also could not take a wicket. He was given the responsibility to bowl the 19th over but he conceded 16 runs handing the match to Australia. This was not the first instance where Kumar bowled the 19th over and conceded more than 12 runs. It happened twice in Asia Cup 2022 (against Pakistan and Sri Lanka).
