The Men in Blue will take on 2019 runners-up, New Zealand at the Himachal Pradesh Cricket Association Stadium in Dharamsala on October 22, Sunday. While the Kiwis are comfortably sitting on the top of the points table with a better net run-rate and an unbeaten streak, the Rohit Sharma-led men are right below them, taking the second place, having won all four games so far in the tournament.

But just as they take on Kane Williamson-less New Zealand in Dharamsala, the Men in Blue have faced some massive blows as several players were seen struggling with injuries on the eve of the all-important match. As per several reports, while Ishan Kishan was stung by bees on his head while practicing in the nets, Suryakumar Yadav, who is likely to replace Hardik Pandya in the XI, got hit during the net session.

While pictures of SKY suffering from gruesome pain after being hit surfaced, Hardik Pandya sustained an injury to his left ankle while fielding on his own bowling during India vs Bangladesh at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune. Notably, the Indian all-rounder hasn’t travelled with the team to Dharamsala.
