Indian cricket team took to nets to sharpen their skills with an aim to extend their win streak to 4-0 in the upcoming match. The ODI World Cup 2023 hosts are coming on the back of three out of three wins in the ongoing season of the marquee ICC event. The two-time world champions, under the guidance of head coach Rahul Dravid, will now lock horns with Bangladesh on October 19, Thursday, at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune.

After a day off, players could be seen sweating it out on October 17, Tuesday, before their upcoming fixture against the Bengal Tigers. Dravid and skipper Rohit Sharma were the first ones to take on the field and inspected the field before Virat Kohli practised a couple of shots along with power-hitting from a few local bowlers.
The training session also had Shubman Gill practising with batting coach Vikram Rathour, along with spinner Ravichandran Ashwin, who was out for two matches. Wicketkeeping batter KL Rahul batted for more than 45 minutes in the nets with Rajnikanth Sivagnanam, the strength-and-conditioning coach of the Indian cricket team.
The emerging star of the team, Ishan Kishan, was next in line, he sharpened his batting skills with deliveries from Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, and a few other bowlers. As the practice session of the Men in Blue approached its end, skipper Sharma was seen sharing a few pieces of advice with young star Shubman Gill.
