Ravindra Jadeja made a befitting comeback to international cricket after being out for several months due to an injury. The all-rounder won two Man of the Match awards back-to-back in the first two Tests of the ongoing Border Gavaskar Trophy. However, Jadeja failed to impress in the third Test as the all-rounder could neither make the most of his promotion in the batting order nor could he trouble the Australian batters with the ball.
On top of that, Jadeja bowled a no-ball when he dismissed Marnus Labuschagne in Australia’s first innings and Sunil Gavaskar reckoned it was the turning point in the game. Jadeja was also criticized for his fuller lengths in the third Test. While the all-rounder has not said anything about all this criticism, Jadeja did something cryptic on social media which left fans confused.
The India all-rounder changes his Display Picture across social media platforms. Jadeja removed his picture and put an “OFF” sign instead.
This led to confusion about what was going through his mind when he did that. While some speculated it to be a sign of “blocking the outside noise” some were worried about his relationship with the Indian Premier League (IPL) franchise Chennai Super Kings (CSK).
Notably, there have been instances when Jadeja has expressed his displeasure about things happening around him through social media. While the all-rounder does not state anything directly, he keeps sending signs through his actions on social media. One of his latest actions was Jadeja liking a post criticizing Axar Patel (who is touted as his competitor in the team).
