In sports or even in life, being better does not ensure success. One has to be the best with so much competition around and to be the best hard work is required. But how about smart work? Well, while hard work ensures that one stays alive in the competition till the very end, smart work provides that required extra edge. And Italian cyclist Michael Guerra perfectly exhibited during one of his competitions.

Guerra used the best of his knowledge of physics and aerodynamics to outperform his opponents and leave them completely stunned. While his competitors pedalled hard to get to the finish line as early as possible, Guerra just adopted a ‘plank position’ and let science do the trick for him. Getting in such a position meant the cyclist was not providing any sort of hindrance and hence his bike just kept flowing like water.

In no time, Guerra gained a significant lead over his opponents and was way ahead of them in the race. The technique worked so well for him that Guerra even went past a man riding on a scooter. Seeing the cyclist literally fly, the guy on the scooter also tried copying the same. The video of the entire episode went viral on social media with people praising Guerra for his smartness.

“Italian cyclist Michael Guerra uses his knowledge of physics and aerodynamics to adopt a “plank” position and overtake his competitors,” tweeted one user.
