One of the oldest and iconic stadium in India, Eden Gardens International Cricket Stadium is situated in Kolkata. It is home to Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL and Bengal in the domestic circuit. This stadium has witnessed less IPL games but recently there have been quite a few games and the atmosphere are wonderful.
It was established in 1864 and has been an excellent venue having hosted its first game in IPL in 2008. The surface here is a balanced one which produces some excellent cricket.
