Fastest ODI Hundred: AB de Villers smashed the fastest-ever ODI hundred in a match against West Indies in Johannesburg on January 18, 2015. The right-hander completed his ton on just 31 balls and ended up smashing 149(44) runs, hitting nine fours and 16 sixes.
Fastest South African batter to cross 9000 ODI runs: AB de Villiers is the second batter in the list and the fastest among the South Africans to reach the milestone of 9000 runs in ODI cricket. The star batter achieved the feat in his 205th innings against New Zealand in Wellington on February 25, 2017.
Third fastest batter to accumulate 8000 ODI runs: AB de Villiers also comes third in the list of batters to score fastest 8000 runs in the ODI format. He completed the milestone in his 182nd ODI innings versus New Zealand on August 26, 2015.
