During IPL 2024, Chennai Super Kings batter, Daryl Mitchell showed a sweet gesture towards a fan, whose mobile phone was destroyed by his shot during the practice session. Notably, ahead of CSK’s clash against Punjab Kings in Dharamshala, Mitchell was doing batting practice near the stands when one of his shots ended up directly hitting a fan’s iphone from the crowd.

The phone was damaged from the back which also left Daryl Mitchell concerned, as he was seen. Later, the New Zealand cricketer apologised to the fan and gifted him with his batting gloves. The fan later shared the glimpses of his broken phone and also showed himself wearing the gloves gifted to him by Mitchell.
