During the 2018 NBA regular season, NBA stars Chris Paul, Rajon Rondo and Brandon Ingram were involved in a massive on-court brawl during Los Angeles Lakers and Houston Rockets regular season game at the Staples Center. All the three players were instantly ejected from the game with four minutes and 13 seconds left in the game.

The incident took place when Brandon Ingram, who was playing for the Lakers then, fouled then-Rockets James Harden and shoved the latter out of aggression. 

After the incident, Rockets' Chris Paul and Lakers' Rajon Rondo squared off against each other and the altercation triggered when the latter spit in the face of Paul and then Rockets guard responded by poking at Rondo's face.

Following that, both Rondo and Paul exchanged punches as their teammates intervened and separated the two players while Ingram threw punches on Paul out of nowhere. While LeBron James grabbed his close friend Chris Paul and took him away, Carmelo Anthony and PJ Tucker were among other players to settle down the matter.

After the incident, Ingram served four-game suspension, Rondo and Paul were suspended for three and two games respectively. The NBA fined Chris Paul $491,782 while Rondo was fined $186,207 and Ingram for $158,816.

Houston were leading Lakers by 109-108 when the fight broke, leading to LeBron James facing defeat in his LA Lakers home debut with a score of 115-124.
