The ICC ODI World Cup 2023 is almost here and all teams have started their preparations in full swing for this marquee tournament. The quadrennial event which is set to take place in India in October-November, later this year will see the arch-rivals India and Pakistan once again take the field in a high-octane clash.

 

However, as per the schedule of the 50-over World Cup 2023, the two nations are set to lock horns on October 15 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The Men in Green will play nine group stage matches across five venues, out of the 12 shortlisted venues.

  

The Babar Azam-led side will also face the two teams progressing from the World Cup Qualifier in Zimbabwe on October 6 and 12, respectively before playing India. As per the schedule laid out by the BCCI & ICC, the schedule for Pakistan will look like the one given below:

Pakistan vs Sri Lanka - 10 October - Hyderabad
Pakistan vs India - 14 October - Ahmedabad

Pakistan vs Australia - 20 October - Bengaluru

Pakistan vs Afghanistan - 23 October - Chennai

Pakistan vs South Africa - 27 October - Chennai

Pakistan vs Bangladesh - 31 October - Kolkata

Pakistan vs New Zealand - 4 November - Bengaluru

Pakistan vs England - 11 November - Kolkata
