However, all sits behind now as the side will next take on five-time champions Australia at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on October 20. But ahead of this another mouth-watering clash between the two class teams, the Men in Green are reportedly battling health issues.

It remains to be seen that the weather hasn’t suited them in Bengaluru. In the optional net sessions early on Tuesday morning (October 17), a few of the key players in the side missed the training while Mohammad Wasim Jr was seen bowling full throttle.

As reported by RevSportz, Abdullah Shafique, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Usama Mir and two others suffered high fever and are recovering well ahead of their next clash. “Shaheen Shah Afridi suffered high fever and was given antibiotic through drip,” a journalist associated with the news media agency reported.

The journalist also clarified that the team will undergo a training session from 5-8 pm in the evening on Tuesday while adding that it’s neither dengue nor viral that the players had.
