Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has been associated with Premier League for more than six years now. In these half-a-dozen years, Guardiola has brought great laurels to the club as the Citizens have won as many as 11 titles including four Premier League titles. However, the club is yet to win a Champions League title which guided them to the final against Chelsea in 2020/21.

But apart from that, Guardiola has had a great stint with the club. Pep Guardiola has never been with a club longer than Manchester City. He has been with Citizens for more than six years now. He stayed with Barcelona for five years, while at Bayern he stayed for three years. His contract expires in 2025, but there are rumors that he will not stay at the club beyond that.

Pep Guardiola to decide on his Man City future after FIFA World Cup

Now, Guardiola himself has indicated that he might part ways with the citizens soon. In a recent conversation, Pep Guardiola confirmed that he will talk about his Manchester City future after the FIFA World Cup 2022 is over. “After the World Cup, we’ll talk. Best for the club, for me. For the club, the best, before and after we’ll see. I’d love to be a manager, otherwise, we wouldn’t be here,” he told Sky Sports in a conversation.

"But, at the same time, I like to enjoy my job. Enjoy means preparing a lot, being sad when you suffer defeat, being happy in your victories, but at the same time taking time, one day off, like this month," added Guardiola.

The Spanish football manager also spoke about the intense scheduling this season with the World Cup in winter and even made a strange analogy of the frequency of games with eating spaghetti every day. He also said that sometimes taking a break feels good. "It is like you are a machine. Prepare for a game, win, go home, analyze... no! Tomorrow, prepare for another one, another one, and another one. You feel maybe taking a break is good," added Pep Guardiola.
