India wicketkeeper batter Rishabh Pant once again had a forgettable outing on Wednesday (30 November). The young cricketer could score only 10 runs during his stint in the middle during 3rd ODI against New Zealand.
The middle order batter was however seen receiving some medical assistance during the first innings of the match and there were rumours of him being not fully fit to play the second innings. Pictures of Pant receiving medical aid went viral too. However, the keeper rest the rumours when he was seen behind the wickets in the second innings.
Talking about Pant’s performance lately, the Indian wicketkeeper-batter has been struggling with form. He has failed to score big in the recent outings and has been receiving a lot of criticism for the same. On the contrary, fans and cricket enthusiasts are often talking about team & the management not giving a chance to Sanju Samson, who boasts of a better record in the shorter formats.
Seeing the Men in Blue’s performance, the Shikhar Dhawan-led side failed to clinch the ODI series after two of the three-match series ended with a no result. Meanwhile, the hosts won the opening game to go up in the series 1-0. The Men in Blue however clinched the T20I series 2-0 earlier this month.
