The IPL 2024 auction players list has been announced officially which saw a total of 333 players registering themselves in 19 different sets. The auction is set to take place in Dubai on 19th December, but the list of players in 2024 auctions saw some of them from the 2023 season being omitted as those players were neither retained nor in the auction list of 2024 IPL.
Here, in this article, we will have a look at the names of those players who won't be part of the 2024 IPL auction despite playing at least one game in the 2023 IPL.

- N Jagadeesan (played for KKR in IPL 2023)
- Mandeep Singh (played for KKR in IPL 2023)
- Kedar Jadhav (played for RCB in IPL 2023; Came in as a replacement for David Willey)
- Priyam Garg (Played for DC in IPL 2023)
- Karan Sharma (played for LSG in IPL 2023)
- Ben Stokes (played for CSK in IPL 2023 & made himself unavailable for this IPL season)
- Jofra Archer (played for MI in IPL 2023 & made himself unavailable for this IPL season)
- Joe Root (played for RR in IPL 2023; opted out of IPL 2024)
- Bhanuka Rajapaksa (played for PBKS in IPL 2023)
- Sisanda Magala (played for CSK in IPL 2023)
- Litton Das (played for KKR in IPL 2023)
If we look at the above list players like Kedar Jadhav, Mandeep Singh, N Jagadeesan, Priyam Garg, Karan Sharma, Sisanda Magala, Bhanuka Rajapaksa and Litton Das have been ignored by all ten IPL franchises despite them showing interest to play in the IPL 2024.
Kedar Jadhav surprisingly registered himself for a base price of 2 crores earlier in the IPL 2024 auction.
English players like Stokes, Archer, and Root have opted out of playing the 2024 IPL edition due to some other commitment.
