PlayStation officially announces Tekken 8 for PS5, trailer released

The developers haven't released any details regarding the launch of the game, new features but asked to stay tuned for more updates.

Japanese video game publisher B andai Namco Entertainment has revealed a new cinematic trailer for Tekken 8, a popular fighting game, on Wednesday. The trailer shows main characters Kazuya and his son Jin Kazama battling it out in a thunderous and menacing background.

The developers haven't released any details regarding the launch of the game, new features but asked to stay tuned for more updates.

The new cinematic trailer begins with dead corpse of Tekken fighter amidst the destroyed surrounding while Kazuya and Jin fighting each other. In the starting, the fight was fair and square but Kazuya summons devil powers to hit Jin, who responded with a fatal blow that ended the fight.

The trailer showcased  real time rendered footage captured from the game running on the PlayStation 5. The developers have provided impressive graphics in terms of dynamic waves and tornadoes and character designs. While more information is yet to be released, the trailer shows a small footage from the game's story mode.

The game is still in development and is expected to launch next year, however, no confirmation has been given by the developers.
