The organizers of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship (PMGC) 2022 have brought back the ‘Fan Favourite’ Awards for the Finals. A total of $18,000 has been allotted to the squads that finish in the top 3 fan-favourite places in the ratings. The winners will be awarded $8,000, while the next two teams will be rewarded $5,000 each. The tournament finals will be held from January 6-8, 2023, with 16 teams fighting for $1.5 million in prize money.
The League Stage of the competition also had these awards. Players and fans can vote for their favourite teams through an in-game system. In the PMGC League Stage, Turkish team S2G Esports won the award. The Indonesian giants Bigetron RA and Malaysian team 4 Rivals finished second and third in the ratings. The voting will start on December 19 and will end on January 8, 2023, along with Grand Finals.
.The following are the steps one must follow to vote for the ‘Fan Favourite’ Awards for the Grand Finals of the PUBG Mobile Global Championship:
1. Play the "Erangel" map in PUBG Mobile and collect voting tokens to vote for your favourite squad.
2. Head over to the Esports centre in-game and click on the Chat option.
3. Click on the gift icon present in the bottom right corner of the screen.
4. The Voting system works like the popular feature in PUBG Mobile. Click on the team you wish to vote for and tap on the desired popularity number. Your vote will hence be registered.
Note: The popularity rating is from 10 to 200 depending on the number of tokens. Notably, these tokens are numbered 1-20.
