The much-anticipated Liverpool's Premier League clash with Leeds United has been confirmed for October 29 at Anfield. Leeds will hope their visit to Anfield for the second time in 2022 ends more positively than their February trip. Leeds’ 6-0 defeat was followed by a 4-0 capitulation at home to Tottenham Hotspur the following weekend and sparked the end of Bielsa’s three-and-a-half-year stint as United boss.

The fixture comes on the back of hectic month for both sides, with Leeds’ trip to Anfield their sixth first-team game over a four-week period. Meanwhile, Manchester United's fixture against West Ham has been rescheduled by the Premier League. United's fixture against David Moyes has only witnessed a minor change, with the kick-off time pushed back by 15 minutes to 4:15pm on Saturday October 30th. All four sides affected by the move will be in action this weekend with domestic football returning after the final international games prior to the World Cup.

Liverpool and West Ham will be in action against Brighton and Wolves, respectively, on Saturday while Leeds will face off against Aston Villa and United compete in the Manchester derby on Sunday. Reportedly, Chelsea vs Manchester United will take place on Saturday 22 October with the kick-off time still to be confirmed pending ongoing conversations between the League, clubs, broadcaster and local authorities.
