Indian batter Prithvi Shaw shared a cryptic story on his social media donning India’s training kit. After having a forgettable season in domestic cricket, Shaw was dropped from Mumbai’s squad for the 2024-25 Vijay Hazare Trophy. Apart from that he also didn’t get a place in the first round  of Ranji Trophy. Now the 25-year-old has started working hard to make a comeback on cricket field and shared a glimpse on his Insta story.

Prithvi Shaw shared a story on his social media donning India’s training kit. He shared a picture with a caption, “You can take me out of the game!! But you can't stop me working.” It Looks like the 2018 Under-19 World Cup winning captain is aiming for a strong comeback in the Mumbai squad and the India team.

Truly unfortunate: Former India selector lashed out at MCA over Prithvi Shaw’s treatment

Jatin Paranjape, former selector of the Indian team also lashed out at the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) over Prithvi Shaw’s treatment and said that the state cricket board isn’t interested in helping out the young batter. "Such loose comments from sources within the MCA is truly unfortunate. Looks like they are not interested in helping Shaw out. This will definitely be his last season as a Mumbai player," Paranjape wrote on X.

Jatin Paranjape’s comments came after the reports came out that MCA on times was forced to hide Prithvi Shaw on the field due to poot fitness,  discipline and attitude issues. It was also reported that Shaw used to miss the training sessions regularly and used to come to the hotel at 6 o'clock in the morning after being out for the entire night. The source from the PTI also called Shaw as his own enemy.
