Lahore Qalandars will be playing their final match of the tournament against Quetta Gladiators on March 10 at National Stadium, Karachi. Shaheen Afridi’s side, who came into this tournament after winning the previous two PSL titles are already out of the tournament after getting six back-to-back defeats on the trot.
After a disastrous outing in more than the first half of the season, Lahore Qalandars finally managed to win against Islamabad United in their eighth game of the tournament. However, Rassie van der Dussen’s heroics with the bat throughout the season remained the key highlight of an otherwise dismal tournament for Lahore.
On the other hand, Quetta Gladiators, who started the season on a high note with three consecutive wins, flattened in the second half of the tournament with only a single win in the next five games they played. Their last fixture against Peshawar Zalmi too didn’t go their way owing to a below average performance with the bat.
