Puneri Paltan will be coming as the defending champions in the upcoming season of the Pro Kabaddi League. They won their first-ever PKL title in 2024 after defeating Haryana Steelers in the final. Now, Puneri Paltan will eye on their back-to-back second title in PKL season 11.
The 2024-25 Pro Kabaddi League will kickstart from October 18 where 12 teams from different cities will compete against each other for the coveted title. Puneri Paltan have spent a huge purse on players like Maninder Singh and Fazel Atrachali in the PKL 2024 auction. The Pune-based franchise bought Maninder for ₹1.15 Crore and Atrachali for ₹50 Lakh respectively.

Puneri Paltan PKL Records
Puneri Paltan finished last in the league stage in the first two editions of the Pro Kabaddi League in 2014 and 2015 respectively. In the third edition, Puneri Paltan reached the playoffs for the first time. After inconsistent performances throughout the seasons, Puneri Paltan reached their first-ever PKL final in 2022. However, they ended up losing to Jaipur Pink Panthers and finished as the runners-up. Puneri Paltan didn’t had to wait too much for their first title as they were crowned champions in the Pro Kabaddi League 2023-24.
