With IPL 2022 just a few days away, there is festive atmosphere across the country. The fans are eagerly waiting for the upcoming season of Indian Premier League to commence and there will be few players who will come into the season, as not bachelors anymore. With RCB's Glenn Maxwell set to get married ahead of start of season, Punjab Kings' latest signing Rahul Chahar is the latest cricketer to tie knots.
The 22-year-old has been engaged to fiance Ishani, who is a fashion designer, for last two years. As the couple has been in relationship for a very long time, they finally decided to get married in an adorable destination wedding in W, Goa on March 9, Wednesday.
In no time, the pictures of the beautiful couple went viral on social media as fans showered love for Rahul and Ishani.
Pictures of Mehndi and Haldi events surface on internet
Earlier in the day, Rahul Chahar had himself shared images of Mehndi event. "Soon to be the beginning of our “forever”! Day 1 filled with the colours of mehndi . The love is blooming," he had captioned the post.
Meanwhile, Rahul's brother Deepak Chahar shared the images of Haldi event on his Instagram stories, where the duo could be seen enjoying the function. While fans were wondering if Deepak, who is notably recovering from an injury, could attend the wedding or not, the pictures certainly solved the mystery around the same.
The Chahar brothers will be back on the field in IPL 2022 as rivals. While Rahul Chahar was signed by Punjab Kings for INR 5.25 crore, Deepak Chahar was bought by Chennai Super Kings for INR 14 crore. The two teams are slated to lock horns on April 17 and May 15 at MCA Stadium and Wankhede Stadium, respectively.
