Red Bull’s Max Verstappen registered an emphatic win in Emilia-Romagna Grand Prix 2025. Trailing by a huge margin, the reigning champion needed an extraordinary performance to make a comeback in the contest. As per expectations, he delivered a sensational show to his supporters by registering his fourth successive victory on the track. Beginning in the second spot, the Dutch didn’t lose hope and performed an outstanding move in the end to surpass Oscar Piastri. A safety car proved beneficial for him at his first pit stop and later, he saw himself surpassing Britain’s Lando Norris, with Piastri slumping to the third spot during the final stages.
Norris’ fresh tyres played a vital role in leaving his teammate Piastri behind. With this success, Verstappen has recorded the second victory in the season. The latest development has also diminished Piastri's championship lead over Norris to 13 points from 16. Talking about Verstappen, he is just nine points behind Norris.
