Indian star cricketer Rishabh Pant has pledged 10% of his commercial income to Rishabh Pant Foundation. This noble cause is his initiative to promote non-cricket and cricket related causes. On the eve of the ODI series against England, Pant mentioned that he will share further detail on the cause in coming months. Pant explained that he has been thinking about forming a foundation for a long time and now it’s the time to take things forward and give back to the community that helped him towards his success.

“Everything I am, everything I have, is because of the beautiful sport of cricket. All I have is because of the life lessons it has taught me. I am fortunate and grateful to be in this position, and even more full of gratitude following my accident a couple of years ago. Going forward, I will dedicate 10 per cent of my commercial income towards the Rishabh Pant Foundation. The RPF is a very dear project to me," Rishabh Pant in a video posted on his official X account.

Rishabh Pant's key role in all formats for the Indian team

Rishabh Pant has emerged as an important member of India's cricket team in all formats. In an unfortunate event, the wicketkeeper-batsman had met with a life-threatening vehicle accident in December 2022, sustaining several injuries that threatened to wreck his career. However, his resilient nature helped him to get back to competitive cricket during the Indian Premier League in 2024.

Pant debuted in 2017, and has played in ODI and Test cricket, despite his limited T20I appearances. He played 150 international matches, including ODIs, T20Is, and Tests. Pant was a member of India's squad and contributed towards winning the 2024 ICC T20 World Cup in the Caribbean and United States.

Pant will be leading the Super Giants for the IPL 2025 season and is a part of team India for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025.
