Ahead of the five-match T20I series against England at home, the Indian cricket team hasn’t been quite at their best in terms of performance or results, which is something they will be looking to rectify in the next couple of months. In the midst of all that, a video has resurfaced once again on social media and gone viral, wherein Riyan Parag and Tilak Varma were spotted arguing with each other about their attitude on the field.

Notably, the video of Riyan Parag and Tilak Varma’s argument is from October last year ahead of India’s T20I against Bangladesh in Delhi, according to the report from NDTV Sports. In the short clip, Varma told Parag about dismissing Nicholas Pooran to which Parag asked him about doing it after his team was in a losing situation, and in response Varma’s hyper attitude was something his Indian teammate didn’t like one bit and let him know about it in a prompt manner.

Below is the interaction between Riyan Parag and Tilak Varma, which has caught the eye of the cricket fans on social media:

Varma: Nicholas Pooran ko out kiya hai maine (I have dismissed Nicholas Pooran).

Parag: Oh! Match haarne ke baad (After losing the match?).

Varma: Kya? Match haarne ke baad (What? After losing the match?).

Parag: Itna hyper kyu ho jaata hai? (Why are you this hyper?).

Moreover, Tilak Varma, who has been picked in the Indian T20I squad for the upcoming five-match series at home against England, became the first cricketer to score three consecutive T20 hundreds during the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) tournament. He was in exceptional form with the bat against South Africa in the T20I series away from home in November last year, smashing back-to-back hundreds at the Highveld.

As far as Riyan Parag is concerned, he hasn’t played any cricket since the home T20I series against Bangladesh due to an injury, while his return to competitive level isn’t confirmed either.
