Preview
Both India Legends and West Indies Legends have opened their campaigns at Road Safety World Series 2 with a win. While Sachin Tendulkar-led India Legends defeated South Africa Legends in their opening fixture, West Indies Legends got the best out of Bangladesh Legends. WI-L played without Brian Lara as the southpaw missed the first games due to personal reasons. However, Lara will be back for the second fixture. Meanwhile, India Legends will also be playing their best XI.
Pitch Report
There have been two pitches used so far in the tournament. While one of them is a bit sluggish and tough to bat on initially, the second one deteriorates in the second half. As the match between England Legends and Sri Lanka Legends will be played on the second (easy to bat on) pitch, India Legends and West Indies Legends will battle it out on the sluggish one. So, spinners will play a bigger role and cutters from pacers will be frequent. A low-scoring thriller may be on the cards.
Team Analysis
India Legends
India Legends had a terrific first match wherein they thrashed South Africa Legends by 61 runs. Stuart Binny took the opposition bowlers to the cleaners as he amassed an unbeaten 82 off just 42 balls. Yusuf Pathan was also up to the task with his big hits. Captain Sachin Tendulkar did not have the best outing but the batting legend will be expected to score runs for his team. In bowling, Rahul Sharma starred with his 3/17. Munaf Patel and Pragyan Ojha also took two wickets apiece. India Legends are expected to field the same XI.

West Indies Legends
West Indies Legends made it really tough for Bangladesh Legends as they bundled them to a paltry 98. Krishmar Santokie was the lead destroyer with his three wickets. Sulieman Benn and Dave Mohammad also chipped in with two wickets each. Darren Powell was also top-notch as he bowled economical overs. With the bat, Dwayne Smith stole the show as he scored a half-century. Captain Kirk Edwards also scored a handy 22*. Now, their batting lineup will be further strengthened with the return of Brian Lara. He may replace Narsingh Deonarine.
