Former cricket legends are set to make a comeback to take the fans down the memory lane as the Road Safety World Series is set to commence on March 5. A total of six teams full of legendary cricketers namely- India Legends, Sri Lanka Legends, South Africa Legends, West Indies Legends, England Legends and Bangladesh Legends - will participate in the T20 tournament. The Road Safety World Series is being staged to create awareness among masses about road safety on Indian streets. The inaugural edition of the competition had to be called off midway owing to threats posed by Coronavirus pandemic.

Ahead of the event, the entire squads of the six participating teams have been announced. The likes of Sachin Tendulkar and Virender Sehwag will make a comeback for the competition with recently retired wicketkeeper Naman Ojha being the latest addition to the Indian contingent. Yusuf Pathan has also been drafted into the Indian Legends setup. Tendulkar has even started prepping for the tournament which is scheduled to be played at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.
