Time: 7:00 PM (IST)

Venue: Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh Stadium, Raipur

Preview:

England Legends will lock horns with West Indies Legends in what could prove to be a knockout game for both sides. With the first three spots almost sealed, skippers Kevin Pietersen and Brian Lara will face-off to secure the last available spot in the semi-final.

The English side has had a fairly indifferent campaign so far. After winning the first two contests, they have suffered from back-to-back defeats. It was an utterly dismal batting display against Sri Lanka Legends in the previous contest as they could only manage 78/9 in 20 overs. However, the firepower in their side cannot be ignored with Kevin Pietersen, Phil Mustard and Owais Shah. The bowling has been pretty consistent throughout with Monty Panesar spinning a web around all opponents.

West Indies Legends come into this contest on the back of a thrilling run-chase against Bangladesh Legends. They have found new batting heroes in different matches and are looking a pretty solid outfit. Skipper Brian Lara has been leading from the front and has notched up some vital knocks in the tournament. They have a formidable bowling line-up as well with Tino Best, Sulieman Benn and Ryan Austin.

With the league stages coming to an end with this ultimate showdown, the stage is set for a mouth-watering contest on Tuesday. It will be interesting to see who can hold their nerves in this crucial star-studded contest in Raipur.
